Can I apply if I’m located outside of the US?

Yes!

If you are applying as an international user we require some form of official documentation confirming your business information, such as a business license, VAT number (EU only), or equivalent.

International buyers generally are responsible for arranging their own shipping, and it is the buyer's responsibility to confirm these details.

Some auctions on the B-Stock Supply marketplace will be labeled as being USA only. International buyers, even if they have a US address, should not bid on these auctions. Please check auction for details.

An additional fee may be charged your bank on any international wire payment. Please check with your bank to confirm details. B-Stock requires payment-in-full before an order will be moved to a "paid" status. 

If you intend to ship to the U.S. prior to your country, we will require a shipping document on the company's letterhead confirming you are a current customer and that you are authorized to use that particular address. A sample shipping document has been attached to this article for your reference.

If you are need a US address but do not currently have one, we recommend you look into the services provided by MyUs.

Once you procure the necessary documents, please submit them to customer service.

Note: No buyers will be approved from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Yemen, or Syria on any sites due to USA federal regulations.

What is a resale certificate?

A resale certificate is a form you, as a buyer, submit to a seller guaranteeing you intend to resell the product you purchase from them. This will exempt you from sales tax at the time of purchase as it will be collected at the time of resell with a sales tax number (or equivalent) issued to you by your state.

If your business is registered in Alaska, Delaware, Montana, New Hampshire, or Oregon, you are not required to submit a resale certificate. However, if we are not able to confirm your business by searching you state's business entity web site, we will request that you supply a business license or equivalent in order to be approved on B-Stock Supply.

I am approved and can't log in. What can I do?

Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Clear your browser's cache, close it, reopen it, and log in.
  2. Try logging in with a different browser. We recommend using the latest version of Chrome or Firefox.
  3. Are you using a mobile device? For best results we recommend using a personal computer. 
  4. Reboot your device.

If you are still unable to log in after being approved, send a screenshot that shows the entirety of your browser (including the URL field) to cs@bstock.com. Please also confirm the email/user name you are using to log in.

How do I apply? Is it free to join?

You must be a registered business in order to join B-Stock.

In order to be approved, we require a valid resale certificate for USA registered businesses. If your business is registered internationally, please review this article for more information.

Fill in the required fields, attach the appropriate documentation, and click the submit button. We will notify you within one business day if your account is approved. If we have questions regarding your documentation, one of our excellent customer service agents will reach out with additional instruction.

Please follow these instructions when filling out your resale certificate:

  • Leave the seller / vendor fields blank
  • Only put down your business information in the fields provided for the buyer
  • If the fields are provided to describe your business and / or the product you intend to purchase, please use generic terms. Do not skip these sections.
  • Sign and date the document

Once you have filled out the document correctly, submit it to customer service.

How do I change my password? How do I update my address or personal information?

If you are an approved member, log into B-Stock Supply and select "Account Information" from the "My Account" drop down. You can update all contact information or change the password on your account.

You can also click the "Forgot your B-Stock password?" text link on the login page to reset your password.

How do I report a technical problem? How do I report a bug?

Please email cs@bstock.com if you are experiencing technical difficulties. Include the following information:

  • What browser and version are you using? Do you experience the same issue in different browsers?

  • What type of device are you using?

  • What is the specific error that you are receiving?

  • Please provide a screenshot of the issue that you are experiencing. Please make sure the image includes the entirety of your browser, including the URL field.

  • Have you attempted to reboot or clear your cache/cookies?

Once we have received the requested information, we will begin troubleshooting procedures.

 

Why hasn't my account been approved yet?

Please allow one full business day for your application to be approved.

If you have not been approved, it is likely because we have not received the proper documentation from you.

Can I submit my EIN (Employer Identification Number) for approval?

B-Stock requires all applicants to have a registered business that can provide valid resale documentation. We do not accept non-profit tax exempt numbers, social security numbers, or EINs in place of a Sales and Use Tax Number (or your state's equivalent).

B-Stock facilitates online business to business liquidation with the intent that the product be resold for profit. Sales tax is not charged as the auction winner will collect that tax at the time of resale.

 

Can I apply if I don’t have a resale certificate or if I am a non-profit?

Since B-Stock facilitates business to business liquidation, with the intent that the product be resold for profit, we are unable to accept non-profit organizations at this time.

If you have a retail business associated with your non-profit, please apply with that business's information. We would need a valid resale document in order to proceed with approving your account.

Additionally, we are also only able to accept individuals who have a registered business capable of submitting valid resale documentation. For information on how to register a business or about your state's resale requirements, contact your local department of revenue or taxation for assistance.

Can I buy for import / export? Can I bid on auctions for export?

Unless otherwise stated in the auction description, any approved buyer may bid on any listing regardless of the location.

These are all "bidder beware" purchases and the buyer will be responsible for all export / import paperwork and fees.

When I try to log in, I see “Your application is still pending.” What do I do?

If you receive this notification, we have either not yet reviewed your application (please allow one full business day) or you have not submitted a proper resale certificate.

If it has been more than 1 business day since you applied, we are probably still waiting on the proper documentation from you. You can send your resale certificate to cs@bstock.com as a pdf, jpg, or png file.
